The Information Services group is responsible for providing a stable, comprehensive computing environment that supports the mission and goals of the College. This responsibility includes providing technical resources in the mode of reliable utility services, providing support for the many uses of information technology which are consistent with the College's plans and standards for information technologies, and constantly evaluating new technologies for integration into the College's information technology infrastructure.

Alan Broyles  is Director of Information Services, office location is AD-41 and his extension is 8031. He is the primary contact for information concerning:

• Planning issues
• Outside services (Internet access, programming, telecommunications)
• Equipment procurement (computers, software, video components)
• Policy issues
• General information related to technical services and resources

Brian Gallien is a Computer Technician and his office is in A-248 and his extension is 7248.  Please contact by going to the online Help Desk.  Include your name, location, and a brief description of your problem. If you cannot log into your computer and you cannot use someone else's, contact by phone.

• New computer installations
• Computer upgrades (adding memory, larger hard drives, scanners, etc.)
• Routine maintenance on PCs and related hardware (installing toner cartridges, cleaning floppy drives)
• Printer installation
• Hardware repair (repairing floppy drives and hard disk drives, repairing printers, PCs that will not boot or that have boot errors)
• PC and related hardware relocation as needed
• Upgrades and maintenance to the network as necessary (add additional cable and devices to connect PCs to the network)

Otis Lutz is the Computer Network Analyst/ Engineer who resides in A-248 and can be reached at 7113.

• Campus computer network architecture and assignment of IP addresses to campus resources.  Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. (DHCP) services for all campus computer resources

• Miscellaneous high tech software and electro-mechanical hardware support for all academic programs and other special technical projects as needed.
